Macleod Book Prize in Latin American History from the Southern Historical Association for her book, A Miscarriage of Justice: Women’s Reproductive Lives and the Law in Early Twentieth-Century Brazil (Stanford UP, 2020). The Each year LACS-SHA awards a prize for the best book published in the previous year in the fields of Latin America, Caribbean, American Borderlands and Frontiers, or Atlantic World history.
